A native of Mobile, Alabama and currently living in Maryland, I work full-time as a budget analyst for the federal government. I enjoy reading, art, volunteering, and hanging with my husband and puppy. I began Women Enjoying Books in 2008 to enjoy books with like-minded professional women.
A true Georgia Peach and die-hard Falcons fan. I work full time as a Mechanical Engineer and love to give back to the community. My hobbies include painting, traveling, writing in my journal and reading. I recently moved back to Georgia from Maryland to be closer to family. I enjoy reading books that are inspirational.
Cameshia loves all things family related and relishes spending time with friends. She has been a Resource Manager in the financial field for over ten years in northern Virginia area, however she is originally from southern Virginia and holds tight to her small town roots. Her hobbies include working out (preferably high intensity classes or Zumba), wine tasting, bike riding, and of course reading! Her favorite books to read normally include some sort of mystery or suspense.
Sylvia Gonsahn-Bollie, M.D. is a wife, mother of 2 active children & dual board certified physician. She & her husband co-founded Institute of Basic Technology, a non profit that offers free supplemental S.T.E.M. Lab and language education to high school students in Monrovia, Liberia. Dr. Sylvia works as an Obesity Medicine Specialist and internal medicine physician in the D. C. metro area. She recently started her personalized weight loss practice, EmbraceYOU Weight & Wellness located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. In her free time she enjoys spending time with God, family, friends, running outdoors, reading, listening to music and doing anything creative.
Tamika is a perpetual student of life and registered nurse by day and by night she is a caped avenger who kickboxes and defends the underdog. She is currently studying to become a nurse practitioner and desires to specialize in preventive healthcare aimed at minimizing chronic disease burden in minority communities. When she isn’t busy making the world a better place she enjoys losing herself in a good book, preferably a romance novel.
Theresa graduated from George Mason University in 2006, with a B.S. degree in Business Management. She has held several finance roles since graduation, and she is now currently a Senior Financial Controller at FreddieMac. When Theresa isn’t busy analyzing and crunching numbers, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Her and her family live in Northern VA. She also enjoys African Dancing, having devotional time, and spending time with other family members and friends. Her favorite books are urban fiction.
